Privacy
This page explains what PSILORIS collects when you browse, create an account, contribute content, or email support.
Who we are
PSILORIS is an independent educational project at https://psiloris.org. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
Account data
When you register with Kinde, we store your Kinde user id, email address, display name, account type, and ban status in our Postgres database so we can authorize contributions and moderation.
Contribution data
Anecdote and research submissions, researcher applications, and related files (such as CV or manuscript PDFs) are stored in our database and private object storage. Raw anecdote text is reviewed and may be rewritten into a de-identified public case report before publication. Unpublished and rejected materials are retained for moderation history unless removal is approved.
Support email
Messages sent to our support address create a ticket in the admin inbox. Ticket contents, sender email, and message history are stored so we can reply and track open or closed requests. Automated replies include a ticket reference in the email footer.
Analytics
We use privacy-focused Umami analytics to understand aggregate page usage. Analytics are configured to avoid advertising trackers; see the Umami project settings for current retention details.
Processors
Depending on features you use, data may be processed by Kinde (authentication), Railway (hosting, Postgres, object storage), Resend (transactional and support email), and Umami (analytics).
Your choices
You may request amendment or removal of your published contributions from the contributor dashboard when eligible. You may also email support to ask about account or ticket data. We may retain limited records needed for abuse prevention, legal compliance, or audit history.
